Garment & Glove Sizing Chart

Worker Body Measurement: The workers actual measurements determined using a fabric measuring tape.
Oberon Coats, Bib-Overalls, Coveralls: Garment dimensions are larger than the User’s measurements to allow space for movement.

Arc Flash Apparel Measuring Instructions

1.Use a Fabric Measuring Tape

Chest: Measure around the chest just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.

Waist: Measure around the natural waistline.

Height: Measure the total height of the worker. You can tape one measuring tape to a wall and have the worker stand up straight against it.

2. Select the Size

After measuring the worker select the size using the tables above. Each of these numbers represent the maximum measurement per size. Always round up and use the larger of either Chest or Waist.

3. Select the Height

All suits are sold as a Regular size. Order bib-overalls for adjustable height. Short, Tall and Extra Tall sizes are custom Made to Order. Regular Standard size is 5’10” to 6’1”. Workers under 5’8” or over 6’4” need custom sizes.

Measurement Directions:

Neck: Measure around the base of your neck; round up to the next half-inch.

Chest: Measure around your chest, under the arms, and across the shoulder blades, over a shirt. If stomach is larger than chest; choose the larger size.

Waist: Measure around your waist at the level you normally wear your pants, over a shirt.

Hip: Standing with feet together, measure around the widest part of your hips, parallel to the floor.

Inseam: Measure a good-fitting pair of pants along the inseam, from crotch seam to bottom edge of cuff.

Sleeve: Bend arm and place fist on hip. Measure from center back of your neck, across shoulder, and down arm to elbow and then to your wrist. This is your sleeve length.

For working garments, measure liberally to find your size, as you need freedom of movement.
