PPE, TOOLS & EQUIPMENT PROGRAM SUPPORT

PPE AUDITS, ASSESSMENTS, AND INVENTORY SUPPORT

Are your Rubber Insulating Gloves being tested every six months?

Onsite PPE Assessments

How do you keep track of your PPE inventory? Does your team have the right PPE they need to safely perform their work tasks? Is managing your PPE inventory a challenge?

We can help with an onsite PPE assessment and review. We work with clients to provide an initial onsite audit and a go-forward plan to help manage electrical PPE, tools, and equipment through better inventory control, testing interval tracking, reminder systems, and practical program recommendations.

Includes:

  • Complete electrical specific arc flash and shock PPE review
  • Written report with observations, recommendations, and corrective actions
  • Identification of PPE requiring testing, replacement, or closer review
  • PPE inventory list for internal tracking and maintenance purposes
  • Guidance on reminder systems and testing schedule management
  • Recommendations for program improvements and spare stock planning

Rubber Insulating Gloves

Rubber insulating gloves are designed to help protect workers from electric shock when properly selected, used, inspected, and maintained. They should be included within a structured PPE management process that addresses routine inspection, storage, tracking, and timely removal from service when defects or contamination are identified.

Gloves should be visually inspected before each use for tears, holes, ozone damage, swelling, chemical contamination, and other signs of deterioration. A well-managed glove program also helps ensure gloves are tracked appropriately for required testing intervals and replacement planning.
